Streak Trait
The color of a mineral in powdered form. The streak can be verified by scrapping a mineral across an abrasive surface, such as a tile of unglazed porcelain. It is a useful property for the identification of minerals with metallic luster (adapted from: Grotzinger et al., 2007).
