Plate boundary (tectonic)  Limite (tectonique)
Zone where two (or more) adjacent lithospheric plates (coherent lithospheric slab moving in a given direction at a given speed) interact by converging, diverging, gliding past one another, or by a combination of these motions. Interactions along plate boundaries can lead to rock deformation, volcanism, seismicity, etc.
