Glacial Period (syn.: Ice Age, Glacial Epoch)  Période glaciaire
Any part of the geologic time in which the climate was notably colder and widespread glaciers moved toward the Equator and covered a much larger total area than those at present-day (adapted from: Neuendorf et al., 2005).
