Uplift (isostatic)  Soulèvement (isostatique)
A raising or uplifting of the Earth's crust. Uplift can be regional or local in scale, and induced by a variety of processes such as: erosion, melting of ice sheets, tectonic activity, magmatic intrusion, etc.
