Crystal Habit (syn: Crystal Form)  Forme cristalline
The shape in which a mineral’s individual crystals or aggregates of crystals grow. For example, certain mineral crystals grow in the form of cubes (halite, pyrite), others in the form of hexagonal prisms (apatite), etc. (adapted from: Grotzinger et al., 2007).
